Science Technician (Maternity Cover) from January 2025 – Fixed term contract
Overview of Role
Harrogate Ladies College and Highfield is a family of three leading independent schools delivering a world class education in the heart of Harrogate for boys aged 2-11 and girls aged 2-18 years. Our 22-acre campus provides a wide range of facilities to support and enrich pupils’ learning, a wellbeing centre and our boarding houses.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Science Technician to cover a period of maternity and join our successful Science department in January 2025. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
The role is to be offered on a full-time basis from 8.00am until 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays with one hour (unpaid) for lunch. Working 37 weeks of the year (34 weeks of term time plus 15 additional days to cover INSET and preparation days).
The Science Technician will assist with the delivery and preparation of Science practicals from Year 7 to A-level and undertake duties in support of the work of the teaching staff in the department in close liaison with the other Science Technician in College.
