Prep 3 had a wonderful visit to Stump Cross Caverns, they explored the caves and created their own ammonite fossils, dug for treasure and examined a shark’s jaw and megalodon tooth.

Prep 5 and 6 pupils attended the Young Voices Concert at Manchester Arena, singing alongside thousands of other children from schools across the UK. It was a fantastic night to remember.

Highfield celebrated ‘Wear Red Day’ to raise funds and awareness for the ‘Children’s Heart Surgery Fund‘. The charity has supported the families of two Highfield children, making it extra special.

Prep 3 have been using pastels to transform a profile photograph of themselves into Egyptian royalty by creating these fabulous Pharaoh works of art.

Prep 3 have been rocking their new Science topic, learning all about rocks! After classifying and sorting various rocks they can now tell the difference between sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks.

Prep 5 braved the cold weather for their first Forest School session! They enjoyed some games and activities in the Forest and finished off with a warm drink of hot chocolate!
