The Importance of Bees
Prep 6 pupil Tom organised a visit from a bee expert to come into Highfield as part of his Fenwick Challenge. The pupils took part in a carousel of activities, including honey tasting.
Ancient Egyptians
Prep 3 had a marvellous time using mod roc, paint and collage materials to make these wonderful Tutankhamun death masks.

“It was worth all the steps!” sums up Prep 3’s amazing trip to Stump Cross Caverns, where they explored caves, studied rock formations, dug for buried treasure, and created ammonite fossils.

Highfield celebrated ‘Wear Red Day’ for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund’ on Friday, and came together as a community adding a little touch of red to their school uniforms!
Ships Ahoy
Reception have been learning all about boats and have created some beautiful boat pictures using torn paper and practising their cutting skills. They also made model boats and enjoyed racing them.
