Congratulations to all our College players who donned their Yorkshire Lacrosse kit this weekend to play for their county at Moreton Hall.

College students were treated to a fundraiser concert last week, when two pupils organised a recital in aid of Autism Angels.

College students enjoyed a highly entertaining evening at the Senior House Drama Competition. Performers demonstrated their passion and creativity, delivering playlets ranging from Toy Story to Pride and Prejudice!

GSCE Biologists undertook a practical to see how light intensity affects photosynthesis rates. They varied the distance of a lamp and observed oxygen bubbles emerging from plant stems.

During our ‘Be Inspired’ Careers Week, College welcomed back alumna, Her Honour Judge Sally Cahill KC, to talk to pupils about careers in the legal world. 

Boarders enjoyed a fascinating day at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester on Saturday. There was also time to do a bit of shopping in the Trafford Centre.
