Easter Nests
Foundation have been busy baking chocolate Easter nests this week. They did a super job. Their favourite part was having a taste at the end!
Easter Cantata
Prep 3 and 4 gave a moving rendition of the Easter story which they told through acting, movement and singing. It was a powerful and uplifting retelling and every child shone!
Hot Cross Buns
Upper 4 explored the role of yeast as a biological raising agent, and brought together elements of maths, religious studies and food science to make seasonally appropriate ‘Hot Cross Buns’.
The Importance of Bees
Prep 6 pupil Tom organised a visit from a bee expert to come into Highfield as part of his Fenwick Challenge. The pupils took part in a carousel of activities, including honey tasting.
Culture Morning
