Making it Count

Foundation pupils are really flying with their maths comprehension. They concentrated hard on matching numbers with objects that they were counting this week.

Walkers Unite

College students set off on their Bronze D of E Practice Expedition, to explore the North York Moors. Despite the chilly nights the team spirit and morale remained high.

Pond Adventures

Reception pupils have been learning all about the lifecycle of a frog. After reading about frogspawn, tadpoles, froglets and frogs, the children gathered evidence from our eco pond.

Come and Sing!

Children from Harrogate and Pre-Schoolers have a wonderful time at ‘Come and Sing!’ –  open to all toddlers (and parents!) at Highfield Hall every Wednesday 12-12.45pm – find out more: mrs.gray@hlc.org.uk 

Lacrosse Nationals

The Senior Lacrosse team played brilliantly at the Under 19 National Schools Lacrosse Tournament, making it through to the quarter-finals and narrowly missing out on a semi-final place. Well done team!

Ancient Greece Revisited

Prep 6 pupils immersed themselves in all things Greek last Thursday. Pupils sported Greek costumes, enjoyed a Greek language lesson, and appreciated their delicious Greek feast.
