Practising Self-Care
Pre-School children have been practising self-care skills through various types of role-play, such as washing and bathing their dollies in the water tray.
Gymnastics
Prep 6 have been working on their gymnastics skills in PE this term. They have been practising a variety of balances, as well as many different jumps.
Eco-Printing
U6 Textiles students enjoyed Eco-Printing, which is a form of natural dyeing where the colours from plant material are transferred to paper or fabric via steaming or boiling.
The Year of the Snake
Pre-School children enjoyed learning all about the Lunar New Year. They practised their counting skills using gold coins and red envelopes and sampled some delicious Chinese Cuisine!
Great British Bird Watch
Highfield pupils enjoyed taking part in the Great British Bird Watch last week. They explored the school grounds and managed to spot robins, blackbirds, wood pigeons and a blue tit!
