The Physics Olympics

Several Lower 4 scientists travelled to St Peter’s School, York, to compete in the Physics Olympics, where they completed practical challenges and a Fermi quiz, which stretched their estimation and logical thinking skills. 

Tales from the Garden

Parents and little ones enjoyed the glorious weather in the private Pre-School gardens at a recent Baby Highfield session, where they were joined by staff from Harrogate Library, who read stories to the group. 

Prep 3 Get Active!

Prep 3 had an incredible time at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre enjoying activities such as raft building, archery, tree climbing, problem solving, orienteering, and bushcraft. 

Resurrected Bites!

Upper 4 pupils visited the ‘give as you can’ charity café, Resurrected Bites, to sample the menu and discover more about its interesting story. The eatery uses food destined for landfill to make delicious meals. 

Transition Put Their Feet Up

Transition had a wonderful time in the sunshine as they took things easy and relaxed in the garden ‘spa’, pampering themselves with cucumber and foot massages!

Prep 1 Cave the Day!

Prep 1 went back to the Stone Age as they became cave boys and girls for the day. They practiced spear throwing, made necklaces, and devoured a cave picnic featuring ‘mammoth’ meatballs and vegetable ‘spears’!
