Puddle and Strife for Holiday Club!

Despite the wet weather, summer is anything but a washout for the EYFS Holiday Club at Highfield, as the recent puddle-splashing activities were met with laughs of, “There’s a flood in my wellies!”

Prep 2 Go Wild!

Prep 2 visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park, where pupils handled camel fur, and lion, capybara, and polar bear skulls; and touched cockroaches, a corn snake, and African snails, enhancing their Science work on habitats and adaptations.

An Achievement in Psychology

After interviewing a Birmingham University Professor about her research into post-traumatic stress, a Sixth Form Psychology student’s article was published in the magazine for the prestigious Association for the Teaching of Psychology.

The Rough with the Smooth(ie)

Foundation children cooled down in the summer heat as they enjoyed honing their kitchen skills, safely chopping up some healthy fruit and berries to make delicious and nutritious frozen smoothies, which were then devoured! 

Just Keep Swimming

Highfield was represented at the North East Division of the English School Swimming Finals, as several pupils competed against more than 30 schools from across the country, displaying fantastic swimming skills in an electric atmosphere.
