Perfect Scores for Speech and Drama at Highfield Prep School
Children from Highfield Prep School are celebrating outstanding speech and drama exam success including a perfect score of 100% for 2 pupils.
More than 130 children from Highfield took the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) exams earlier this year and every single pupil passed. All pupils in Year 2, 3 and 4 who took the exams achieved Distinctions and 2 outstanding pupils, Mia Jaffar and Millie Kay, each achieved perfect marks of 100%.
Highfield’s specialist Drama Teacher, Lesley Lloyd, said,
“I am so proud of all of these young children who have shown the confidence to enter an examination room on their own, recite a poem and then lead a conversation with the examiner. These are life skills that will remain with them and help them on their exciting journey.”
“During my 27 years of drama teaching I have shared in the success of hundreds of pupils but never have any of them scored 100% – Mia and Millie’s achievements are truly remarkable!”

The examinations included Verse and Prose, Prepared Reading, Acting and Group Speaking.
