Mrs Joanna Fox Joins Harrogate Ladies College As Senior Deputy
Harrogate Ladies’ College are delighted to welcome Mrs Joanna Fox as the new Senior Deputy. Joining the school from Ipswich High School where she was Assistant Head (Wellbeing) and Head of Boarding, Mrs Fox’s role will also include partnership work with parents and the wider community.
Mrs Fox first came to teaching after her career as a Nursing Officer and Ward Sister in the Armed Forces, an experience which included military service in the first Gulf War. She completed an English degree with the Open University and then a PGCE at Anglia Ruskin University.
Mrs Fox says,
“I am delighted to join Harrogate Ladies’ College and am wholly committed to the provision of an all-round and balanced education, which I believe can only be provided as part of a holistic approach with academic rigour and strong pastoral care at its core.”
“I am convinced that young people will, if provided with a compassionate, supportive and consistent environment, become equipped to build happy and purposeful lives.”
