Marathon Achievement
In May, College alumna Ann Bruce-Low née Winestone (1954-58) ran the Southampton Half Marathon for the second time, with her son Stewart. She achieved a Personal Best of 4 hours 3 minutes, and received 1st in Age! This year she plans to run it alone.
Ann also ran the New Forest 10K in late August, although a fall near the end unfortunately resulted in a small bone broken in her hand and a cracked bone in her cheek. The good news is she fell beside the First Aiders! Despite this, she managed to power walk the Great Scottish Run 10K shortly afterwards, in two hours!
