Inspire Careers Programme
Preparing Today for Tomorrow’s Workplace
Harrogate Ladies’ College is launching a new Careers Programme called ‘Inspire’ for all pupils. The programme is designed to encourage the next generation of female leaders to be brave and to be bold in their careers choices and to equip them with the skills and qualities that employers want.

The programme commences with a Careers Fair on Wednesday 2nd October from 4.30pm to 6pm. We’ll also be running weekly industry-specific workshops and talks thereafter.
We are keen to develop links with organisations and professionals from outside the school who can help us to inspire our girls and give them an insight the different careers options open to them.
If you, or anyone you know, could contribute to this programme either as an individual, or representing a company, we’d love to hear from you. Perhaps you could chat with students at the Careers Fair about your industry or profession, what you do day-to-day, what skills and experiences are needed and the career prospects? Or maybe your company could offer mock interviews for students, or give a short presentation about their industry for one of our weekly ‘Inspire’ sessions?
