Come and Sing at Harrogate Ladies’ College
Harrogate Ladies’ College is hosting a Come and Sing event which is open to choral singers from across the region on Sunday 9 October.
The event will be led by the school’s Chapel Choir, who were semi-finalists in last year’s BBC Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year Competition. The choir will be rehearsing a selection of choral favourites during the afternoon, followed by a free concert in the school’s Chapel at 6.30pm.
The event is open to all either to join in the singing (previous choral experience required) or to attend the free concert in the evening.
Kate Morgan, Director of Music at Harrogate Ladies’ College said,
“We’re a very musical school and we love nothing more than to share our love of music with the wider community. I hope that as many people as possible will come along, either to sing with our fabulous choir or to hear the final performance in our school Chapel”.
