A New Book from Alumna Author
‘Her Darkest Hour’, the new book from alumna Sharon Maas (1961-65, 1968-69), is out on 22nd May 2020. It is a beautiful and heartbreaking World War 2 historical fiction, with a coming of age story.
Sharon was born in Guyana and has always had a great sense of adventure and curiosity about the world we live in. After a year-long backpacking trip around South America, an overland trip to India through Europe, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and two years in an Ashram in South India, she lived in Germany, and subsequently Ireland. Her first novel, ‘Of Marriageable Age’, published by HarperCollins in 1999, is set in India and Guyana and she has published numerous novels since. ‘Her Darkest Hour’ can be pre-ordered from Amazon, Google and others.
