Harrogate has been consistently voted as the “happiest place to live in the UK” – we think that when you’re choosing a boarding school, happiness is really important!
“the spa town of Harrogate, with its Moorish Baths once frequented by the royals, is the unquestionable northern capital of chic. It’s thought to be ‘the Belgravia’ of North Yorkshire, and it’s easy to see why.”

Harrogate is a wealthy, cosmopolitan town with beautiful historic buildings and large open spaces and parks. It has a vibrant cafe culture and an array of exclusive shops and boutiques – all of which our girls love! It is a centre for creative arts and hosts many festivals and events throughout the year which we are able to take advantage of.
Our boarding school is located in the exclusive Duchy area of Harrogate, a quiet residential area, owned by the Duchy of Lancaster and dominated by large Victorian family houses and tree lined avenues – ideal for our evening running club. Just a few minutes’ walk from the tranquillity of school and the girls are in the heart of Harrogate with its shops, cafes and culture.
