Highfield 2024/25 Day Fees
At all stages of the curriculum, our termly Highfield Prep School Day Fees include the following:
- Tuition
- Lunch
- Medical services provided by the College Health Centre
- An extensive extra-curricular programme
Following the Government’s announcement to impose VAT on independent school fees, we made a commitment to parents to absorb the VAT for current pupils for the remainder of this academic year, because we think this is the right thing to do. Please be aware that the fees detailed on this page therefore do not reflect any VAT related increases. The fees for the academic year commencing September 2025 are currently being finalised and will be confirmed later this term.

2024/25 Boarding Fees (Girls only)
In Years 5 and 6 we have facilities for girls to attend Highfield Prep School as boarders. Here’s a quick summary of the things included in our termly Boarding Fees:
- Tuition
- Accommodation (during term time)

before and after school care
Before School Care (7:30am to 8:30am) is charged at £4.00 per half an hour and After School Care (4pm to 6pm) charged at £4.00 per half an hour. A late pick up charge of £27.50 will be applied for any child who has been booked into after school care until 6pm but has not been picked up promptly at the end of the session.
Registration Fees and Deposits
There is a non-refundable Registration Fee of £100 for all applications (except for pupils transferring from Highfield Pre-School). Once you receive an offer from Highfield Prep School you’ll also be asked to pay a refundable deposit of £300 (or £1,000 for boarders) in order to secure your place.
