Introducing Empower Programme, a pioneering leadership and development initiative designed to equip Sixth Form pupils at Harrogate Ladies’ College with the skills, confidence, and resilience to excel beyond school.
Rooted in our ethos of academic excellence and personal growth, this transformative programme ensures that every pupil is prepared for the demands of higher education, professional careers, and leadership roles in an ever-evolving world.
Empower Sixth Form programme
The Empower Programme provides a comprehensive Sixth Form experience built around the core Sixth Form curriculum, where pupils studying three A Levels.
The programme builds out from the core academic studies to enable pupils to develop skills and experiences based around four dynamic pillars:
- Think – Developing intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Grow – Encouraging personal development, independence, and adaptability.
- Lead – Cultivating leadership skills, teamwork, and initiative through real life challenges.
- Propel – Providing career guidance, mentorship, and university preparation, including Oxbridge, Medicine, Law, and international pathways.
